How It All Started
Starlight Haven was founded by a husband-and-wife team who believe deeply in second chances.
"What started as a small personal effort to help a few horses grew into a calling that could no longer be ignored. We saw too many animals slipping through the cracks. Too many stories ending too soon. Too many good horses with nowhere left to land.
So we built a place for them.
We are not a high-volume operation. We are intentional. We focus on taking in horses we can realistically help, committing to their long-term care, and giving each one the time they deserve.
Every horse here is known.

What We Do
Rescue
We take in horses from kill pens, neglect cases, owner surrenders, and emergency situations when space allows.
Faith day 1...
Rehabilitation
Many of the horses we receive are underweight, injured, fearful, or medically compromised. We provide veterinary care, nutrition, farrier services, and patient handling to help them stabilize and recover.
Faith 30 days at Starlight Haven
Sanctuary & Lifetime Care
Some horses will eventually be adoptable. Others will remain with us for life. We commit to both with the same level of care and respect.
